tips needed for target sophomore

I recently got an offer to work at a MM investment banking for the spring semester and as a summer analyst - 6 months total. I really want to have a good chunk of IB experience under my belt for summer 2021 - and I realize how crazy it is to be talking about summer 2021 rn. My question is two-fold. I really want to start my career in IB preferably at GS/MS or an Elite Boutique. That being said, I also really want to get into the hedge fund space after IB so my question is, is it better to try for a BB than a boutique? Also, what are the main differences in recruiting when it comes to BB vs Elite Boutique? For context I go to a well-represented target - think Harvard/Yale/Princeton/Penn/Dartmouth/Columbia. I also am a sophomore and have a 3.6 GPA.
