TMT EMEA Rankings for exits
Which banks do well in EMEA for TMT? MS, Citi and a few others separate Tech from M&C so curious how these rank and fare for UMM/PE exits in 2025. Thanks

For 2025, the rankings are unlikely to shift drastically, but the strength of individual groups and deal flow will always play a significant role in determining exit opportunities. If your goal is UMM/PE, targeting the top performers like GS, MS, and Citi would be your best bet.

JPM has had a few decent exits over the years but is really losing momentum currently. HHs are not contacting their juniors as frequently.
In my MF and across most large cap shops - ASO class is dominated by MS and GS, surprisingly Citi and DB have punched above their weight as well!
DB TMT does a high volume of sponsor-led work which helps with buyside placement. Surprised to hear about JPM which historically was always strong.
EMEA exits (all sectors, not only TMT) have always been GS/MS/JPM at the top with the rest lagging by a substantial margin.
