Given a lack of internship would you guys and gals recommend that someone graduating in May of next year apply for FT analyst positions or off-cylce internship positions (same firm)? My professors say go for FT slots but I feel like an internship would help my chances of landing a spot at a better firm.

Do you have any internship experience at all? Where do you go to school? Most places won't take interns after graduation so FT analyst is probably your best bet
