Too early to lateral?
I got an 6 months internship. The internship can extend to 1 year. They don't offer a FT after internship. My director let it slips that they are extending it to 1 year. My team has been super nice and my MD told me at the beginning of the internship to talk to him if I ever need anything.
I saw this FT 1st year analyst at my bank. It is my top team but I only started working at this position 4-5 months ago. Is it rude or too early to ask for referral to lateral to another team?
