My buddy is an analyst at a good PE shop and told me most of his trade requests get approved - albeit he’s in real estate so not sure if that has any impact on his requests to buy tech/consumer/industrial securities.
For IB employees, is it entirely forbidden to buy individual securities - as in not even worth going through the trouble of sending HR the request - or just sell holdings? P.S. Ignore title
