Transfer Student Confusion

I am a Junior transfer student applying for SA positions. Given that this is my first semester at my new University, on my resume I have both schools listed, with my old GPA under my old school, and N/A under my new school.

So first, do you think that is a good idea having N/A, or will it raise flags? I figured they could connect the dots and see that I am clearly a transfer student. Or, should I put my cumulative GPA up until this point (which would just be from my old University) which is a 3.7? I feel weird having that under my new school, but technically I am not lying right?

And lastly, I am filling out some early applications right now, and on every application it obviously asks your education details. So I input my new University, and then it asks for GPA. Do I put the 3.7 that I have until this point (even though it wasn't earned at this school), or do I put N/A in the application? I have no idea how to do this because they dont structure these things for transfer students.

Sometimes it asks if you had previous University experience, so I would put my old school and old GPA under that, but then for the new one, it still doesnt feel right having N/A or 0.0 for the GPA line. (Technically on my unofficial transcript, which I have to include for applications, it says my GPA is 0.0 because I havent finished a class here yet).

Let me know if anyone has had to do the same thing. I appreciate it, thanks.

In your first semester it's acceptable to put your GPA from your old school as both. Any online apps will be filtered out if you have N/A or 0.0/4.0 on there. During interviews you'll probably get asked about it since it's the same and you can explain it then.

For the online stuff, just put your old school's GPA.

For the paper stuff, don't just put N/A, put Transfer Student.
