Transition from Credit Risk
Per title, I have been trying to transition into IB for long term career prospects/goals.
Wondering if anybody here has made the move from CR at a BB, GS/MS/JPM to IB and any advice. Also open to exploring any other routes.
The work is good for a finance foundation, modeling, industry research, valuation, but at a certain point the learning opportunities subside and feels a little monotonous. Looking for something front office.
started at a similar spot - interned in CR, moved into commercial banking, then switched to IB / PE. how long have you been in CR? have you tried to see if it's possible to move internally to IB?
