Hey all, was looking at previous threads about this but they didn’t seem particularly relevant/stale. When you’re leaving your IB job, is it common to put in your two weeks notice and you actually stay for the two weeks, or is it more of a nicety and they’ll just have you leave the same day? Would love to hear anyone’s experiences with this

Have seen sort of both happen. Though I will say the moment you give your two weeks its pretty much a quasi holiday for you since all your staffings/deals will be shifted to other analysts and you can just come in 9-5 for the last two weeks and dick around
