UBS CIG Summer Analyst

Recently applied for the Credit Investments Group SA at UBS

did the personality assessment and got the "We found your profile interesting, and have shared it with the hiring manager who’s currently reviewing your application" automated email.

does that have any significance? if so, when should I expect to get a reply about a Superday or rejection?

curious if anyone else applied/got the response

Based on previous WSO threads, here are some insights:

  1. Significance of the Automated Email:

    • The automated email indicating that your profile has been shared with the hiring manager is a positive sign. It means you have passed the initial screening and your application is under further review.
  2. Timeline for Response:

    • The timeline for receiving a response can vary. In some cases, candidates have reported waiting several weeks to hear back about next steps, such as a Superday or rejection. It's not uncommon for there to be a delay, especially if the hiring process is competitive or if there are many applicants.
  3. Follow-Up:

    • If you haven't heard back within a reasonable timeframe (e.g., 2-3 weeks), it might be a good idea to send a polite follow-up email to inquire about the status of your application. This shows your continued interest and can sometimes expedite the process.
  4. Other Candidates' Experiences:

    • From the context provided, it seems that experiences can vary widely. Some candidates receive quick responses, while others may wait longer. It's helpful to stay patient and proactive in your follow-up.
