UBS No Laptops??
I just accepted an offer with UBS but heard they don't give employees laptops? And you have to buy your own? Is there an allowance for one?

It's literally a third party client (like Citrix) that you simply load into the UBS server from.

no ive never used a virtual machine because all the places ive worked at before gave me my own laptop to use.
the only time i used "virtual" was when i didnt bring my work laptop home for w/e reason and needed to wfh.
Who gives a shit? This is a pretty trivial concern in the grand scheme of things.
Im interning there next summer so anyone has any insights on how this works? my personal laptop is a Mac so I canot use it. does this just mean ill have to be in the office everyday?
