Undergraduate First Internship Hunt

Hi there! I am a student at Maastricht University. I am in the process of earning my BSc and next academic year will be entering my third and final year. I am planning to major in Finance for that entire year, where I will be further expanding upon finance related courses I have taken in the past, all of which firmly grabbed my interest.

As a result of this interest and enjoyment, I am considering investment banking as a possible career path once out of university. I am currently trying to find any investment banking summer internship that would have me so that I may develop a better, real life understanding of how the business works and if it is truly a career I would like to pursue.

However, I am unsure how to approach this challenge and would like to ask you older and wiser primates for some advice on what steps I should take to successfully obtain an internship this summer!
