USC vs Lehigh for NYC
Hello Everyone,
I am a Freshman at Lehigh University. Due to family ties, I have the opportunity to transfer to USC Marshall for the fall of 2025. However, I am dead set on landing in NYC, as I am from New Jersey and want to live in the area after graduation. What route would better prepare me to achieve that goal? Cost is not an issue.
USC is the better choice. If you're building good connections at Lehigh, might consider stay because those connections are valuable for recruiting.
USC is the far better option. This fall Goldman Sachs sent out an internal email officially labeling USC as a target school.
Wow - this is a HUGE win for USC. I am not surprised though, it has become really hard to get into USC past few years
Lol I have barely met anyone from USC in banking or high finance jobs in NYC, but I have met a ton of Lehigh people. Moreover, Lehigh alumni tend to be tight and help each other out. Unless you want to be in California, I don't think USC will give you an edge in recruiting (maybe if you want to work in California it will).
Focus on which school you like better; USC wont give you an advantage unless you want to be in California.
This seems extremely false. USC is a top 5 alumni network and is way better for IB. Get your first job in LA then go to NYC.
