Using a current intern friend to network?
Curious about your guys thoughts. I have friends interning at some BBs this summer, wanted to ask them about putting me in contact with their superiors. I wasn't sure if that's reasonable or not, thought I'd ask at the risk of getting roasted
Your current friends are working their ass off to try and secure an offer themselves.. no matter how good of friends you are with them, they can't be handing out their superiors' contact info
You're basically asking your friends to stick their necks out for you... at a place they don't even work at yet. Kind of a messed up thing to ask of someone. I know I personally would not endorse any one of my friends at a firm I myself am trying to secure a job at.
