Very weird stuff happening in my financial model. Can someone take a look?
Hi guys, today I made a three-statement financial model on a Albioma just for fun, and there was something very weird when I tied up BS and IS to get my CF statement.
Basically all years tie up except for one, where theres a 10mn difference.
I added the file. Please ignore the whacky CF statement, the structure is wrong and I basically just banged in all BS changes and was surprised that it ties up almost perfectly. This makes this case even more mysterious.
Best regards,

I'll take a look later this morning
Thank you man, very cool!!! :-)
Dude, you need to re-order your CF statement. I know you just tried to include differences but it’s extremely hard to follow. When you have historicals then just hand jam them in and link it up if you want to make sure it’s consistent (doesn’t always tie though due to adjustments).
Thanks for your advice. What do you mean with getting it in order as it is hard to follow? Could you elaborate on that (how would you do it)?
Just input it how the financials have it. You have PPE in op cf and that’s not right
The difference comes from you not carrying out formulas to all years in CFS. Carry the formula from 2020 to 2019 in Right-of-use assets, Other non-current assets, and both Lease Liabilities.
Amazing, thanks. I overlooked that. Reminder for me to always use zeros instead of "-"
Pls never use blue when it's formula driven - drives me up the wall. Also what's with the "-" when it should be "0". Above post is correct that you needed to just carry over formulas in 2020 to the prior years in the CF statement.
What do you mean with "never use blue if it's formula driven"? What I do is make inputs blue and formula cells black. Is this wrong?
