I interviewed a little less than a week ago for a lateral position (not IB) but HR randomly called me afterward to confirm I was felt good coming into the office 3 days a week and trying up upsell how great coming into the office is (they know I work mostly from home)… now that it’s been a bit I am guessing I wasn’t there first choice but not immediately out because they followed up on my WFH thoughts?
Just wondering if it’s a soft no but I will find out once the other ppl accept /reject offers.
Interviewed for HL IB. I ended up being their #2 pick (or so they say. Maybe I was really #3). If you’re their first pick, they would have likely extended already unless they needed to double check something. I would send an email asking for an update as you are interested but have a timeline and need to know by Friday. That could hopefully expedite it.
