Weird Situation

Hi, So I am currently a junior and have worked for a BB in NYC (equity research) this past summer as a sophomore. But, the sad thing is that i did not receive an offer. this year, i would like to shoot for i banking. Is there any way i can spin my equity research experience into ibanking and come up with a good explanation for not getting a FT offer at the same time. would not having an offer hurt me in the recruiting process. Thanks for all your help.

You mean an offer to go back or an offer for FT? As far as I know they don't give out offers 2 years in advance. All of my friends who interned as a soph or off-cycle intern just got an offer to go back for the full-time intern program

syl2009i mean offer for FT.. I know some sophomores who got offers for FT...
was their last name Blankfein, Schwarzman or Paulson?
