Wells Fargo Corporate Banking Associates - No base raises until VP
Apparently every associate in WF corporate banking got “market raises” last October. Now it doesn’t matter if you are an A1 or A3, everyone is making $125k base plus a $40-$50k bonus.
Is this an industry norm? Curious is other banks are doing that too. Don’t really see why anyone would stick around if they aren’t going to get a raise for three years...
Life isn't all about money
Yet here you are on wallstreetoasis.com
Is where I am too. Flat base across associate years
Does bonus increase?
Yes but assuming you are in average and up tier
JPM CCB base salaries are 130/140/150 for a reference point. I believe their CB arm in the investment bank is higher.
IMO, 125 across the board for CB is bull.
WF's CB arm was moved into IB at the end of 2019 I believe. Classic WF move. They love to underpay.
