Based on the most helpful WSO content, Wells Fargo's perks for Investment Banking in NYC seem to be less competitive compared to other banks. Here's a breakdown:

  1. Meal Stipends: Wells Fargo does not offer a meal stipend, as noted by a First-Year Analyst who mentioned that senior management was made aware that 80% of competitors provide this perk, but no changes were implemented.

  2. Uber Coverage: There is no specific mention of Uber or transportation coverage for late nights in the NYC office.

  3. Pay: While specific pay details aren't provided in the context, one Associate mentioned "significantly below average bonuses with no raises across the board this year," which suggests compensation might not be as competitive.

  4. Office Culture: The team culture seems to vary by group. One Associate highlighted a positive experience with a fantastic team dynamic, where work-life balance was respected when possible.

Incoming analyst at Wells also, does anyone know if they provide work phones or pay for phone bills. I don’t like the idea of using my personal device for work so want to plan around having 2 phones

One anti-perk is no protected Saturdays unlike most banks. I didn't think that would be an issue since some alumni at other groups seem to be doing fine and commented positively on the culture, but my group has been getting squeezed lately. If you want to run me into the ground during the work week, okay fine that's what I signed up for, but the only official policy on paper is "pencils down" from 6 PM Friday to 12 noon on Saturday, so your Saturdays can get blown up, not even just on live stuff which ok that can be understandable but sometimes just regular pitch/update decks which is starting to become unreasonable.

They also have a protected holiday program but that's basically every bank, and then you get 3 protected weekends per year. I didn't think this would be an issue but it's starting to be.

Want to give it to you straight. I'd ask some pretty direct questions in your networking.
