Wells Fargo protected weekends?
Saw a bunch of old threads on various banks and policies during the SPAC bubble hiring frenzy but not much recent. What's the current protected weekend policy at WF and how enforced is it? Heard that at one point it was just one protected weekend per month, not a Friday-Sat or Fri-Sun morning thing? Any current employees who can chime in
What’s a weekend?
It's different based on the group. A few groups have pencils down from Friday to Sunday morning, but most groups don't. Pretty sure most of the groups operate under the one protected weekend per month model.
Your weekends are automatically protected by virtue of working at Wells Fargo
Fridays 6 pm - Saturday 12 pm pencils down and bank holidays off.
Interned last summer. My group had pencils down 6pm Friday - 12pm saturday and analysts & associates got 1 protected weekend a month, Friday night - Sunday
Protected weekends no longer exist as of a few months ago. It’s now “protected holidays” which means you kind of have Christmas off.
