Wells Fargo REGAL (Need new info)

I really can't find anything recent about WF REGAL group.

How strong is the group? I've heard it's definitely one of the stronger groups on the street and the bank but a lot of that information seems outdated.

How are exits and laterals to other BBs?

Strong group on the street and internally within WF. Have hired two senior MDs over the last year or so. Supported by the largest CRE balance sheet. Focused on optimizing the balance sheet/CRE commitments to win more advisory business. Definitely a tailwind behind them.

Good placements externally. No point to lateral to other BBs IMO based on facts above.

Culture at WF is generally pretty good. Stands true for REGAL as well. The main hubs are NYC and DC (legacy Eastdil). Junior team in NYC seems to be pretty tight knit.

Eastdil is completely spun off now. Some of the coverage bankers stayed on and formed the REGAL group, but the brokerage side is a stand alone.

I work at Wells. REGAL seems pretty active, people I know there are nice. They do a bunch of advisory work with bx…not sure why you’d wanna go to BoA and get paid less, doesn’t make sense.
