West Coast EB Groups

friends and I at an east coast target just wrapped up recruiting and there were surprisingly quite a few of us who were gunning for West Coast EBs as our top choices (excl healthcare), so I just wanted to share how we ranked the groups as another data point

Tier 1: Q, CVP PA/SF, MOE LA, EVR Menlo (contentious one, half of us felt it was tier 1 half tier 2)

Tier 2: PWP SF, LAZ SF, MOE SF

Tier 3: Greenhill

Couldn't Rank: PJT SF (they only took 1 intern from a superday comprising female candidates)

this is a highly subjective list based off our collective impressions after research and talking with seniors/alumni, happy to hear what everyone else thinks

Eh. My friends at Evercore and LAZ have worked on some sick deals and both firms have exceptional exits (although one is far sweatier than the other). LAZ recently did Sony/Bungie and Visa/Plaid. But most ppl only know them for doing all of Google's deals.
