What is JPM's Junior Analyst Program?
I don't really understand what's the difference between the JPMorgan Investment Banking Analyst (Full time) program vs the Junior Analyst Program (Full time).

Junior analyst program is a 1 year A0 stint. Essentially a trial run for you and JPM. If you do well you can be hired in as a full time analyst into their analyst program, but you enter as a first year analyst. Pay and work is relatively comparable to regular analyst program.
Wdym by A0 stint. is this program relatively easier to get? Would you say its a waste of time and I should just apply to the regular position?
A0= year 0 analyst, vs A1=first year analyst, A2=second year analyst, etc. Definitely not a waste of time, but think of it like a feeder program into their regular analyst program. If you can get directly into the analyst program, no sense going through the feeder program.
It's not necessarily easier to get, but they released that program later in the year when I was recruiting, I think it was around January. A lot of the top candidates had already gotten offers, but there are less junior analyst positions than regular analysts as far as I'm aware so it's probably about the same. I had a few interviews for the regular analyst process, but didn't make it into the junior analyst process when I applied.
It's mainly a program for people out of college/started recruiting after cycle is over. Heard the 1 year internship is unstructured and in some places you're treated like an intern for a year And you might not even get a return after that
