What to do - Recently contacted a partner
Recently contacted a partner at a BB ( alumni) after we talked at an info session a while back. He told me to send my resume. I did about a month ago. Did not hear back anything from him cause he is in a different sector than what I am interested in ( he is in S&T). I know that he did forward my resume to HR cause one of the higher up people in HR looked at my linkedin profile. It has been about a month now and I have not heard anything back from them. What do I do? I am interested in fall recruiting, so should I contact them in a month or so ( i am a rising senior)? would it be odd if I contacted the HR person given the fact that I only know his name cause he looked at my linkedin profile? which one of the two should I contact?

should I contact the partner now or towards like late august ? the company might be in a hiring freeze right now, so don't want to contact them right now.
