What type of work will SAs be doing? (especially in online formats)

Caption really says it all. What type of work do you guys think that summer analysts will be doing in light of the online nature of the internship? What work do summer analysts usually get their hands on?

Should I be focusing on getting up to speed in Excel/PowerPoint or modeling? Any advice would be great! Thanks in advance.

top MM- sounds like we will have independent projects, and we aren't going to be doing anything live. They will base return offers off performance on these projects. It's unclear what exactly they might look like, but I would guess it's going to be a presentation/written report, and might have an excel component. From what I heard from analysts at the bank, sounds like they are more just making sure people are willing to work hard and can do good work, but I'm at a bank with historically 90%+ return offer rates so not sure how that will compare to BBs.
