What’s the longest amount of down time you’ve ever had?
I recently switched groups at my IB and have only been staffed on one thing since thanksgiving. Probably worked 30 hours a week the last 2 months. Has anyone else ever had this much down time?

Over the summer I had an intern pretty much do all my work. Had to double check everything for mistakes but honestly the intern was probably more efficient than I was.

in 2019, as an associate, I did a 2 month stretch of 50 hours a week. the big issue is becoming used to it and then having to suddenly switch to a grind when a deal materializes.
I feel you on this. Been chilling for a while but just won the mandate for a deal that’s going to kill my group if not firm.
