When to follow up? (E-mail ignored)

Hi WSO community,

I was recently cold-emailing alumni, and I got responses from one analyst and one ED so far. They asked me when is good to talk, and I gave them a specific time horizon and said that "I'll work around their schedule." They didn't reply back. Is it too much if I follow-up within 24 or 48 hours?

1) The analyst told me she's good to talk tomorrow or the day after tomorrow. I said "let's talk tomorrow - the earlier the better for me, but I'll work around your schedule"

2) ED told me he's good to talk on Thursday or Friday. I said, "let's talk friday. I'm free all day except for X ~ X pm ET" Never heard back.

Are they not replying because they're too busy? When is the appropriate time for me to follow up?

Thank you!
