Who else here has been the messenger boy/girl?

How many times have you had to get on a plane basically last minute to hand deliver management presentations, CIMs, or other documents/hard drives/etc?

Over the course of two years in IB I would say I've done that at least once a quarter, usually for a live deal I was working on....

One time, I was working late turning a management presentation for a live M&A deal I was on. Last minute, the client decided to set up a meeting with a potential buyer in DC. In the morning, I got in and my MD immediately asked me to get 20 copies of the presentation printed and binded. Shortly after I was on the first flight to DC with presentations in hand. I delivered them to the client and VP, stayed the night and flew back the next day. In the meantime, the work obviously never stopped.
