Will attending online events help me in any way?

I've been attending some company events on handshake with various titles and from various companies. Besides these events, I've also attended a few events from company websites directly (I go to a non-target so MS doesn't put their events on my handshake page until like a few days before it actually happens so it will be too late to be approved or they just don't have it on the page like GS).

I was just wondering if attending these events will help me in any way. Some events are titles networking events. But those events aren't from ibs, but big4 and for this one guy who I asked to connect with on Linkedin, he still hasn't accepted my invitation so kinda rip. So yea, does attending an event to hear Carla Harris of MS speak help me at all? Especially since I'm not gonna be able to actually speak to anyone, but just listening to her.

I doubt I'll be able to put this on my resume. I might be able to bring it up in an interview, but other than that, I really see no use listening to someone for 45 minutes speaking.
