Will withdrawing from an interview on the day itself get you blacklisted?

For context, I've received a BB offer (literally my dream role and bank) last Tuesday evening at the region I am applying for, and had another BB group superday on Wednesday afternoon.

Took some time to consider things through and decided to withdraw from the application on Wed morning (4 hours before the superday). I explained in my email the circumstances and I did not want to further waste the time and consideration of the interviewers. HR has not responded to my email and I'm afraid it will get me blacklisted for future applications.

Thanks for the advices

While it is the considerate thing to do in normal circumstances, 4 hours before the SD is just stupid. People have already scheduled their SD around you.
You could have just done the super day, and rejected the offer - if you get one that is - saying you will be going someplace else.
Idk about blacklist, but it is in poor taste unless it was slightly in advance.

Yeah but I was actually swarmed with work that day (as I'm currently on off-cycle internship), and the SD had 8 other candidates so I thought perhaps it would not have as big of a negative impact as compared to an individual interview.

Just hoping for the best.
