Working in M&A at a place like Aon as your first job?
I'm coming in from Humanities so any job in i-banking is pretty damn big for me. There's a job in M&A at Aon that I'm qualified for (aka I have prior work experience and a BA in an unspecified field). How hard is it to transition from a job at a company like that to a bank or a bigger/better firm (in i-banking/PE terms)? A more specific question that isn't as important as much as I'm just curious: are the benefits and the pay as bad as I've heard they are?
