Working outside of the trading hours

Hi,

I'm working on a university application development project. I need to design and develop an application that would allow traders to carry out tasks that could be done away from the trading desk (the project is called Flexible Working for Traders and is based on a real life project).

I would like to know from any Sales person, Trader and Sales Trader which tasks and features you think the application (iOS app) should include (features such as customised stock price alerts, meeting scheduling system, client call list and prioritising system, platform for messaging between trading teams perhaps?). Could you please give your thoughts by mentioning you role (trading, sales, sales trading). Also, it would be nice if you could give a brief description of your typical day, but this is just an extra really.
