Worth it to Sneak into Another School's Career Fair?

Context:

Rising senior from a non-target liberal arts university (think SJWs on steroids), 3.75 GPA and internship experience in Project Finance/Tax Equity at a bulge bracket. I'm looking to break into Investment Banking but it hasn't been the easiest. I'll be in Chicago and was wondering if it would even be worth it to "crash" Northwestern or UChicago's career fair in hopes of finding a banking recruiter that won't turn my resume away.

I have a friend who goes to a nearby school and crashed my school's career fair. He made it clear he wasn't pretending to be from my school and employers didn't have a problem with that. Ended up getting a job at one of the companies that he talked to there so I guess it's worth a shot right? Don't try to fake that you're a student at the target...for obvious reasons, but other than that I think you'd be okay

If anything it shows determination and will differentiate you from others. ie "Remember that kid that wasn't from XYZ school?, Yeah, what he had to say about himself was pretty interesting. . ."

You can market yourself advantageously.

Mr. DeterminedDon't you have to show ID to get into the career fair?

I'm wondering the same thing? Our school does and we aren't a target. I think sometimes, finding who the recruiter is, then contacting them with a request to meet is easier to do.

I once told a good friend of mine he could come to my school's career fair. They carded him at the door and turned him away. Highly embarrassing.
