Would like some perspective. Super stressed about FT recruiting.

Background:

3.8 GPA non-target w/69% AR (I'm pretty sure that my classmate/acquaintance and I are the first kids in the history of our school to intern in PE/IB, which just goes to show how much of a non-target it is.

Also went to a semi-target foster home.

1 Boutique PE internship that I'm likely extending through fall.

Diversity? (I hate this pc bull-shit, Im a mega-mutt and I look racially ambiguous. But that doesn't mean I won't play this retarded game.)

I'm the first in my family to attend college and not drop out in the first semester. I have zero guidance when it comes to this industry and just getting my SA felt like an impossible hurdle that took a lot of trial and error over 3 years. I never secured a role my first two summers and I just barely secured this one prior to the start of the summer. (300+ applications, 50+ interviews, 4 offers, only one of which was PE.)  I wanted an IB role, but fortunately I was forced to settle with PE.

I heard getting the first role on your resume is always the hardest, but I can't help but feel incredibly discouraged to go through this process again so soon. This summer has passed by in the blink of an eye. My firm doesn't do FT analyst offers and I've received stellar reviews from my MP.

So far, I love the work. I work close to 60 hours a week and I've only felt close to burning out when I was assigned a massive and tedious task that consisted a week of doing the exact same process over and over. Even then, I'd like to believe I'm given considerable responsibility compared to stories I've read on other boutique internships. I've learned a ton and its only reinforced my passion for the industry.

Realistically, how should I feel about the current cycle? I understand my prospects of securing a FT IB role would be astronomically worse if I didn't have my current role.

Advice would also be appreciated.
