Advice for recruiting into IB as a rising senior with 0 IB experience

First, thanks to everyone on this forum for providing genuine and useful advice.

My Background:

Economics & business finance student at semi-target school (rising senior)

Interned on a private wealth management team at UBS

Currently interning at a middle market merchant bank on their  business development (PE deal sourcing/origination) team

My Situation:

I worked hard to break into IB as a summer analyst this summer but fell short (made it to 2 super days) and it was late into recruiting so I took an internship I could. Have been networking within it and working hard but do not want to stay in a business development role. It is not very quantitative, but I have developed great qualitative skills throughout the internship (basic due diligence, creating pitches & presentations, cold calling, etc.)

I have been studying technicals again and doing some networking with IB firms (previous connections & new) but am not really progressing in the process.

My Questions:

I would be willing to take a summer analyst position post-grad and learn as much as possible, proving myself during the summer. Is this something I should mention during any calls?

General advice for putting my best foot forward into IB analyst interviews as I have no prior IB experience.

Is IB out of reach / should I target smaller more niche banks?

Any better strategies for networking/breaking in as a soon to be graduate?
Any general feedback / advice / assistance / professionals willing to take a quick call and provide any insight to my current situation would be greatly appreciated.
