Allocator vs. Restructuring Consulting?
Hi monkeys, I have these 2 disparate career interests (OCIO/FoF/E&F vs. credit Rx/turnaround consulting) and I'm wondering how to find out which one I'm better suited for and which is most realistic...If anyone else has considered both, I'd appreciate a comment.
What are the pros/cons to work/lifestyle at each, relative to each other? What are the differences in responsibility given to jrs? Is there a way to know which you're better at?
Which one is easier to break into as a first job (think at a small-to-mid place with that has exits to better firms -- I'm not going to start at a top firm)?
