Best route to IB/HF/PE between these 2 internships

I'm in the interviewing process of 2 internships at the moment.

I'm not even sure of landing one - I'll give it my very best mind you, really need this - but hypothetically what's the best option if my dream/goal is IB/HF/PE (high finance type of job)?

This is if I get an offer from both let's say, I just want to know as a general inquiry.

The 2 internships are:

1) UBS CFO IB internship. Finance team of the IB division. So basically reporting, forecasting, planning controlling and regulatory stuff (Banking regulation)

2) Credit Suisse Private Bank Hedge Fund Investments internship. Basically product selection, hedge fund advisory business and discretionary business.

CS, seems somewhat similar to fund of funds due diligence. If you're interested in assessing different strategies, macro concepts, manager track records, fund structuring, etc. definitely go with that. Networking should be alright too. UBS one would make it even harder for a possible transition... plus the brand name is not as good IMO.

Yeah working in the hedge fund industry would be amazing and is a medium-long term goal for me so the CS position would be an incredible opportunity.

Can you please expand on the brand name thing? I'm new to this. Why is Credit Suisse better regarded than UBS?
