Best Way to Walk Through Resume

Hi, I've been wondering lately what is the best way to walk through resume during the interview.

As far as I know, majority of candidates use chronological structure: overview (school, major, combined experience) -> light touch of every work experience, accompanied by a short explanation (e.g. why did I decided to commence IB internship)

What is your stance on different methods? For example, some candidates do not adhere to chronological structure, but split this part into work experience, extracurricular activities, personal achievements.

In my opinion it’s best to sort by work experience, extracurriculars/other, and then mention your interests or anything else you feel is important.

Also something that makes you stand out is making it more personalized to you. Make it sound like an interesting story and connect the dots as to how you ended up at that interview by the end of it.
