Career Path Change

Hello everyone, I have a few questions and figured here was the place to ask. I'm a 23 years old and I've been married for almost a year now. Just found out the wife is pregnant and it has got me thinking of going to school for Finance. Mainly because of the large salaries and the fact that you are usually home every night. Bit of background, blue collar worker my whole life. Background in personal finance and investing around covid because I enjoyed the hell out of it the more i=I got into it. Worked as a diesel mechanic, Cathodic Protection technician, crane operator and trucker. I'm looking at going into becoming a financial manager in the long term, or asset management. With a kid on the way I'd rather be in something where I don't have to work a ton of overtime to make 100k or more a year. I never went to college, just went to work. Have a bit of a background with consulting and pushing for business working at a company for Cathodic Protection. How does the future job market look? Where I'm at now its essentially recession proof, and I can make good money (60k with no overtime, 90-120k depending on how much overtime I want to work). I know Robo investors are looking at taking up some of the job market, and as people think they become more financially responsible and literate in this generation there could be some slow downs. I'm mainly doing this to be home every night with my wife and kid, make enough money to live comfortably, max out 401k and two Roths. I know you have to go to college and at least get you bachelors degree, was looking at franklin university for online school, and then generally certifications thereafter. As a working man who cant really do unpaid internships, what would be the best way for me to get into Finance? Am I starting too late and in a bad spot? Anyone have any thoughts?

EDIT: I currently live in Dayton, OH. Originally from Columbus OH and plan to move or commute there if necessary.
