Careers in Finance with better WL balance?

Title.

Came to the conclusion recently, that IB is not for me in the long run.

What are other careers in finance with a better work life balance (say 50-60h average, mostly free weekends) and still decent comp (maybe similar base at junior level, lower bonus).

If the work would be more rewarding and intellectually stimulating that would be a big plus.

Cheers!

Asset based lending. Mostly focused on sponsor coverage these days while still keeping reasonable hours. Most shops will work on restructurings and depending on where you go you may still get plenty of exposure to capital markets.
