Delaying Grad
Hey everyone. Thoughts on delaying grad, any risks? Trying to rerecruit for SA 2026. Will I get blacklisted from firms or will I get rescinded after background check. Rising Junior but recruited very late.

probably not. i go to a non target and theres been plenty of people that double majored to delay their graduation. theyre at good banks as well. one problem i do see with this is paying extra for another degree.
Hey, appreciate the response. Gotchu. Any problems with delaying by a semester or does it have be delaying by a year to reduce costs?
ask your academic advisor. i also know some people who decide to not be a full time student so they graduate a little later. just see what you academic advisor suggest for you
gotcha, would there be any problem with banks tho if i only delay by a semester. Like does it have to be a year. Sorry for all the questions, this is a big decision and just want to be sure i dont make a mistake
No one at a bank cares as long as your grad date is accurately reflected on your transcript (BBs ask for this). Tell your school to modify your grad date so it aligns with
got it, so they don’t care about start date and if you are a junior? Just want to be sure I don’t get screwed lol for return offers etc.. Appreciate all the advice
