Did I screw up? Took ER over IB

Currently a junior at a target. Recruited for both ER and IB and had offers from one of GS/MS ER, and at PWP/Moelis/Lazard. Ended up going with ER because I have zero interest in PE and want to pursue a career in public equities (haven't decided between LO or pod yet, & I know SM is an uphill battle) Did I mess up by taking the ER offer?

Also, before someone says this in the comments - I know GS ER isn't on the same level as MS. I just grouped the two together because they're comparable from an exits standpoint.

how can someone have such good offers and me just a snowflake

follow what u like the most and who cares about reputation or whatever the fck u read on wso

don't be a sad individual and enjoy homie - you did good, now profit

Interned at one of those shops for ER but took a pod offer for full time.

if you want publics you made the right call, you’ll actually learn relevant skills for the job rather than just the modelling

would strongly recommend pushing for MMHF for full time if you want to do HF, quality of ER hires seems to be declining from what I’ve heard (and seen).
