I was talking to a friend recently who told me that Houlihan Lokey does not even entertain the idea of perspective interns applying for summer positions. I looked on HLs site and couldn't find any starting summer internship information. How could this be true?

I know a guy from our school who get an internship there. It's not impossible.
This is ridiculous. Yes, they hire interns. I know of a few from my school.
Just because it isn't online doesn't mean it doesn't exist. Note that this holds true to many things in life -- if you don't find what you want, ask somebody.

Of course they don't right now, they are about to go through FT recruiting. Also, they don't like you contacting the seniors directly.
