Does HR airing me affect my chances?

I had a great final round interview for an IB analyst role with the MD of the team a few days ago. The process has been really quick and they’ve typically told me on the day if I had progressed to the next round. After my interview the HR of the firm sent a message asking how it went and I replied and said it went well but there was no further conversation after. A day later I sent a message asking about the timeline as I am going to rural area up until the new years where my connection/ access to the internet is going to be limited. They saw the message and did not reply. I know it’s only been a couple of days but I’m just wondering if this is a bad sign.

I know it might seem like I’m doing too much but I’ve had a lot of bad luck over the last year when applying, I’ve gotten roles then got the offer pulled because of budget cuts, I’ve had an offer pulled because a new director was hired and they wanted to hire a more diverse candidate (nothing against DEI, just annoying it happened after I got the offer). So in general I’m just tired of making final rounds and then not getting the role.
