Feeling lost/ confused

I quit my job in wealth management a year ago for multiple reasons. Cleared cfa L1 and 2 in the meantime. I am now trying to enter the job market but i am not sure which field within finance do i want to go for. Wealth mgt wasnt the most interesting, i surely dont miss it. I am more interested in the technical aspect of finance, mental masturbation some may call it. I have been trading for a while now and i certainly love that. I want to try for HF but idk how to score an interview given my current background. I live in Canada and the job market isnt the best here especially for high profile finance jobs

Or if there are any other areas I can explore, pleaseeee advise!

I feel stuck and confused, any help is greatly appreciated😭

Thanks for responding!
I realize I cant get into HF right away, but there has to be something that can be done to enter the field, no? Even if its a few years down the line?
