Fields offered in Girls Who Invest Program?

What fields of finance are actually offered in the Girls Who Invest program? I know they talk about IB, PE, and HF, but do they also do Growth Equity or VC? I wrote about Growth Equity and VC in my essays, so I don't know if I'm screwed, or if I should email them to add that I am open to exploring any field...?

I'm super interested in the program and would really learn a lot from the hands-on experiences offered by the program, but it's super hard to break into finance and this program is one of the best opportunities to do that.... So I really hope that I didn't screw up my application!

Based on the most helpful WSO content, the Girls Who Invest program is primarily asset management-oriented. It focuses on teaching finance for four weeks before setting participants up with a six-week internship among an impressive list of firms. While the program is highly regarded and offers significant learning opportunities, it is not explicitly mentioned whether it includes Growth Equity or Venture Capital (VC) in its curriculum.

Given your interest in Growth Equity and VC, it might be beneficial to reach out to the program administrators to express your openness to exploring any field within finance. This proactive approach can demonstrate your enthusiasm and flexibility, which could be advantageous for your application.

If you are accepted into the program, the hands-on experiences and networking opportunities it provides can still be incredibly valuable for breaking into various fields within finance, even if your initial focus areas are not explicitly covered.
