Freshmen Internship
Hey y'all. First time poster. Anyway, I am a currently a freshmen majoring in econ and comp sci. I am at a target school(not HYPSM) and am a bit worried about my summer prospects. As of right now, I plan on taking a multi-variable and doing an internship with a family friend at a hedge fund. I am worried however that at this internship, I won't really be doing much and really just shadowing them. Should I shoot for a PWM or F500 internship instead?

You're welcome.
So, which of the two schools in the Raleigh-Durham area are you at? :)
Seriously, though, you are a freshman, so the quality of your internship is not as important as the ability for you to demonstrate an interest in finance. I think your HF shadowing will be a good use of your time.
Blue Devil School ;)
