Probably gonna get some MS for this but hopefully some advice. Talked to an analyst at a MM about a month ago. The conversation went rly well, seemed like a cool person and she offered to put me in contact with another analyst or associate. Emailed her thank you and asked to be put in touch with someone else from her group. No reply gave but gave it two weeks and reached back out. Waited another two weeks and politely emailed again. Any thoughts on what i should do? this is a great bank and would love to work there.
Probably not actually hiring. Just offered to refer you to be nice, everyone I know this does

Ye but there is absolutely nothing she can do for u as of now so helping u is even lower on her set of priorities. It is good that you reached out early tho but the drawback is you have to maintain this relationship or else it will go to waste.
Not too early, keep networking and emailing. For this person just periodically reach back out and I’m sure you’ll hear back. Don’t let the other ‘interns’ sabotage you.
