Guidance Needed - High GPA w/ no experience

Hello,

I am looking for advice on how I should approach my job search. I recently finished up my undergraduate studies with a 3.9+ GPA in finance at a non-target school. I was a student-athlete for four years. Due to my obligations as a student-athlete, I could not intern during the summer. As a result, my resume is very barren.

I understand that IB is likely completely out of the picture. I am curious if anyone has advice about where I should direct my job search. Consulting seems intriguing to me, however, I am worried that I will run into the same problems as IB since I have missed the recruiting season and have no experience. What other areas could I realistically enter that will be challenging, allow me an opportunity to learn, make good money, and set my career up for future success? More importantly, what areas outside of corporate finance are still looking for recent graduates? Any other general advice would be appreciated.

Thanks!
