HS Senior Who Needs Career Advice

I turned 18 a few days ago and now it's time for me to conclude what I will pursue. I want to work for myself in the future but right now I do not have the skills or resources to go down this route yet, So what career or job provides: - Good Compensation($200k Base before 30) - Lots of Exit Opportunities - Surrounds me with High-value people I can learn from - No 80 - 100 hour work weeks

Preferably the career I choose should eventually give me the opportunity to use what I learned and start my own firm/business

Interests: Geopolitics, Finance, and Technology.

Asset management, public sector finance like IMF / World Bank, fintech could be interesting. If you don’t want to work crazy hours you’re barring yourself from IB and PE. The paths are a little different but generally get into the best school possible, get a high GPA, and do relevant internships as early as possible. Join whichever school’s finance club and the investment fund to get advice from upperclassmen.

Georgetown or UVA could be particularly good for DC based finance. For FinTech you want to be on the west coast at Berkeley or Stanford.
