I am a math major at Rutgers NB aspiring to go into banking. What should I do to maximize the chances of landing an IB job?

Hey all,

I'm going into my sophomore year as a math major in the honors math program. I am taking real analysis in the coming fall and will probably have my math major completed sometime during my junior year. I have several internships at firms such as Chase and Bank of America lined up for me in the winter and I am also looking to joining LIBOR as well as the "Road to Wall Street" Program. I am trying to become proficient in excel, as well as python and also increase my knowledge of the industry within these next three years so as to make myself stand out, seeing as I go to Rutgers which is not a target-school. I am also looking to take the SIE exam sometime during my junior or senior year so that within the next 4 years after that I can work on a sponsorship for the Series 7 exam. How much does this factor into my chances of landing a position in IB? What can I do to maximize my chances of making it?
